GOOD NIGHT, DAY

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE BEANIES and knit hats-- and hats in general-- but I have a hard time finding ones that fit me and pass my incredibly harsh qualifications since I feel like I just don't really look good in them. But Canadian knitwear label Good Night Day is so perfect and everything fits like a dream. I was lucky that designer, maker, and shop runner Tara-Lynn Morrison is the sweetest ever, and sent me a couple of her gorgeous fair trade alpaca wool hats sourced from Peru AND one to match for Harrison. (You'll be seeing him in it so soon!) 

Also, she asked me to host a giveaway of her Knitting Patterns Book. Tara-Lynn feels sharing her knitting patterns, offers empowerment & creativity through this solitary handicraft for the new expanding makers community . The Good Night Day patterns & booklets give easy access to those wishing to learn simple ways to approach daunting hand knitting skills. The patterns are an introduction to traditional hand knitting using straight forward & innovative knitting techniques learnt & now passed on.
