VINTAGE MIXER
I LIVE IN A SMALL TOWN IN A not-too-well-known area of Southern California. I also love it. It's far from a lot of things, but at the same time, I don't really need to venture out of it too much, aside from visiting my family in Orange County or going to LA from time to time. There are a lot of great small businesses here and nearby, and I like to support local shops. A few of my friends have shops, including my friend Tarryn who owns the cutest children's store, Seed, and my pal Ryan who founded the amazing A la Minute ice cream. I've worked with him on a few different occasions, including my recent Madewell event last week.
On Friday, there will be a vintage mixer in the town next to mine, Yucaipa. I lived there for a split second with my mother-in-law until J and I found our own place, and it's got a growing uptown area, with really great restaurants and coffee shops, as well as vintage/antique shops. One in particular is Aymie's Attic, where I purchased my beautiful wooden workbench that we use as our kitchen table/counter space. It's so, so perfect, and Greg has a lot of amazing finds from all over the country-- from industrial to rustic to mid-century pieces. A la Minute gets a lot of their tables and chairs from Aymie's Attic as well.
Try to stop by! Details are in the flyer down below. I'll be stopping by at some point during the evening. I'd love to see you guys there!
