THE OTHER DAY, I received a package c/o Sugarlips in the mail. Inside was their Native Meadow Dress which is made of a nice sturdy Southwestern print that drapes beautifully. I love the structure of it. The back has a nicely placed strap that makes it easy to wear a bra underneath, which I find is always a plus. If you haven't shopped there before, do, because they're wonderful and the quality is great.

Today I got the chance to wear it to run a few small errands and go to World Market to buy a couple of rootbeers. They have a pretty tasty selection of vintage sodas in the back so J and I go there from time to time to grab a drink and sometimes wander the aisles. It's one of my favorite places to shop. In fact, that's where we got the sodas for our wedding back in March. Afterwards, we went to the nearby middle school to shoot some hoops. It was a nice summertime Friday of just hanging around the house, baking some warm chocolate chip cookies, and living. Simple. ♢
