SINCE AROUND spring, I've been really obsessed with caps. Especially wearing them backwards, with less casual outfits, to balance the outfit and make them less cutesy. Like a feminine blouse or a cotton jersey dress. It's a great, underused accessory. Plus, you don't have to worry about your hair. These are some shots that didn't make it into my late summer look book for my Etsy shop, HoneyBee Vintage, featuring one of my favorite outfits this summer (and my friend Karlee's super cute pup). I ended up not putting this blouse up for sale because I liked it so much, I couldn't part with it. It's got a mini pointed collar and a peplum waist, and it buttons up the back. I'm also a sucker for a navy/cobalt blue so I don't even know why I even debated selling it. Be on the lookout for some fall items in the shop soon, though! And a new look book to accompany the inventory.
Anyhow, if you want to see more of my cap-love, you can follow my Pinterest board, All Caps.
And this is the hat I've been coveting most of all. I love the way the five panel hats fit. I think I have a big head, plus really poufy thick hair, so it's hard for me to find hats that fit well. These, like the one from Obey that I'm wearing, definitely fit the bill (pun intended). ♢
